Morning Meetings:
Some teachers use morning meetings as a chance to correct a letter they write to their students or to come together to and discuss the morning work. The only kind of morning meeting I have seen in placements is calendar time, which sometimes happens at the end of the day. I like the idea of a morning meeting, but my idea is completely different. I feel like the morning meeting should last no longer than 10 minutes. It should be a discussion. It should be a chance for students to catch up on each others lives. Everyone has so much going on and it should be a chance for the classroom family to come together and take a deep breath.
