Talking to the teacher and interacting with the student one-on-one we came to find out he could possibly be gifted!  His mother refused to medicate him.  So my question is how would you go about bringing this issue up to like the gifted program dept at the school?  The classroom teacher said they wouldn't consider him because he has such a hard time focusing and doesn't even turn in his assignments.  I think he could have been bored and ADHD at the same time.
